For cruise tourists, the Stavanger Tourist Information Office is very easy to find. It is in the same yellow building as the cruise terminal itself, with entrance outside the port fences. For all others, it is in the yellow building at the western side of Vågen in Stavanger. Skilled guides gives you all the information you need about Stavanger and its attractions. You can also get city maps, the official Stavanger tourist guide and a lot of free brochures. The tourist office also helps to book tickets to different sightseeing tours and fjord cruises. A lot of different tours to Lysefjorden and transport to both Preikestolen and the amazing stone between to mountainsides at Kjærag are available. You can select between a lot of different transpor- tation, from your own chartered yacht, a fastgoing RIB of a fjordcruise vessel, to bus or rented car. The Tourist Information Office is open daily from 0800 to 1800 weekdays and 0900 to 1400 in weekends.
