Comfort Hotel Square is a modern and reasonable priced hotel
in Stavanger. It is located in Løkkeveien, looking down on the
city center. From the hotel and down to Vågen is only a 3
minutes walk.
The hotel has a carpark in the basement which stretches 8
floors down to a mall. When the mall is open, you can use the
lift in the garage all the way down and you are almost in the
center of Stavanger. Very nice if you don´t want to walk up the
hill on your way back.
If you arrive by car, you can stop in front of the hotel to unload
your luggage and then drive around the corner to the carpark.
When you enter the hotel you face the reception, or the
«Barception» which it is called here. This is a combination of
the reception, a bar, a small shop and restaurant.
You can bring food and drinks in to the huge dining area to the
right of the reception. This in a modern area with huge
windows and cool furniture. The whole hotel has a quite raw
design with much concrete and steel, black walls, a lot of green
plants and neon signs.
The rooms are much the same with concrete walls, but soften
up by a huge photo behind the bed and wooden floors. The
bathroom has clean lines and black and white tiles.
Breakfast, which is very nice, is served at the ground floor
restaurant area.
The hotel has a cool roofterrace with tables, benches and a
spectacular view of Stavanger. You can buy drinks and food in
the «barception» and bring up. Be sure to be there in the «blue
hour».
