The Renaa family is all over Stavanger with their different restaurant concept, where their masterpiece is Norway’s only two star Michelin restaurant RE-NAA in the exclusive Eilert Smith Hotel is their masterpiece. This is a completely different concept, but as exciting as the Michelin Restaurant. Like RE-NAA, this restaurant is also located in a hotel, here it is the old KNA hotel, now Frogner House in Lagårdsveien - a short walk outside Stavanger center. Sirkus Renaa is a great mix of an ice cream parlour, a bakery and pastry shop, a sandwich shop, a pizzeria, a chocolate shop, a lunch and dinner restaurant and bar - it is also the breakfast restaurant for the hotel, serving breakfast from 8 in the morning and brunch until 1400 and lunch til 1600. This also includes salads, soups and quiche. After 1600 the restaurant turns Italian. The pizzas are delicious, typical thin Naepolitan in nine different versions. In addition to the pizza, you can have pasta, antipasti, salads, chicken and soups. The restaurant is open, with large windows, a raised fireplace in the center surrounded by barstools, concrete tables and benches and olive trees to soften it all. All along the back wall is the bakery and an open kitchen with a huge italian pizza oven.
