Stavanger Cruise Terminal has a great location in Vågen in the center of Stavanger. When you disembark your ship you are right in Stavanger. Right in front of you when you leave the terminal is Old Stavanger - the old wooden part of the city. It may look like a museum, but this is actual homes where people live.

If you head left from the terminal, follow the pier to the inner part of Vågen. Here you will find many of the restaurants, cafes and bars in Stavanger, the Fish Market and the City Square (Torget). If you continue further behind the restaurants and the City Square, you will find the cosy cobblestone pedestrian area of Stavanger with most of the shops. Here you also find some of the attractions in Stavanger, like the Valberg Tower, Fargegaten (The Colour Street), the Petroleum Museum and the cultural center Sølvberget. To the right of the City Square (Torget) is Stavanger Cathedral with its great location by Breievatnet.
